59 card games, 12 chess and checkers games and 16 board games now play in the browser and on Android, with the iOS apps catching up as each store update clears

October 23, 2026 — Vanikar Games today announced that its games platform has grown to 87 games across three collections: Card Games by Vanikar^™with 59 card games, Chess & Checkers by Vanikar with 12 games and Board Games by Vanikar with 16. Every game plays today in the browser and in the Android apps, and all three collections share one account and one Premium subscription.

The expansion gives players more ways to enjoy a game night, practice against computer opponents or connect with friends, without purchasing each game separately.

Card Games Grows From 17 to 59

Version 1.17 of Card Games by Vanikar, released in September, added Euchre, Go Fish, President, Scopa, Skat and Truco to the original 11 games for 17 in all. The current release adds 42 more games, bringing the collection to 59.

The new games include eleven solitaire games with Auto and Undo: Klondike, Spider, FreeCell, Yukon, Scorpion, Pyramid, TriPeaks, Golf, Canfield, Crescent and Addiction. Trick-taking players gain Whist, Oh Hell!, Pinochle, Briscola, 29, Court Piece, Mendikot, Manni and Lockup, and rummy players gain Rummy, Canasta, Buraco and Chinchón. Shedding and matching games include Crazy Eights, Last Card!, Idiot, Sevens, Kings in the Corner, Tiến Lên, Escoba, Koi-Koi, Old Maid and Memory, alongside the quick family games War, Snap, Slapjack, Spit, Sleep, Trash, Six Card Golf and 5 Cards.

They join Hearts, Spades, Gin Rummy, Cribbage, Big Two, Indian Rummy, Indian Jackass, Durak, Belote, Bluff and High Card and the six games from version 1.17.

Card Games by Vanikar combines offline play against computer opponents with private online tables. Players can create a table, share an invitation code and bring friends and family together, with computer players available to fill empty seats. Computer opponents now have personalities and talk at the table, with a voice for each seat or table talk switched off. Players can search the games by name or player count and star their favorites. Premium also includes Discord voice integration, personal statistics and leaderboards.

Chess and Checkers Reaches Twelve Games

Chess & Checkers by Vanikar now offers twelve games on one account: Chess and four of its variants, Chaturanga, Chess960, Crazyhouse and Atomic Chess; draughts under four rule sets, English, International, Russian and Suicide; Chinese Checkers for two to six players; Shogi; and Hnefatafl, the Viking game of the king's escape.

Every game supports offline play against the computer at three levels and online play with a clock, from a one-minute bullet game to sixty minutes of classical time or no clock at all. Boards switch between 2D and 3D views in the middle of a game, with eight boards and matching piece sets to choose from. The Chess & Checkers by Vanikar app arrived on the App Store on October 7 with Chess, English Draughts, International Checkers and Chinese Checkers; the Android app carries all twelve games, and the iOS app receives the remaining eight in its next update.

Board Games Doubles to Sixteen

Board Games by Vanikar has grown from eight games to sixteen. Snakes and Ladders leads on seven boards with ten sets of pieces, alongside the older boards it came from, Paramapadham, Gyan Chaupar, Gyan Bazi and Shatranj al-Arifin, and the Tamil classics Dhayam and Aadu Puli Aattam, thrown with the traditional stick dice. New in this release are the sowing games Pallanguzhi and Mancala, Backgammon, Mahjong, Reversi and Sea Battle, the dice games Farkle and Yatzy, and Vanikar's own property-trading game Guilds to Galaxies, played across nine centuries of boards.

Two to four players share a board, against the computer or online with friends and family using a shared code. Games keep their place between visits, and results count toward personal statistics and leaderboards. The Board Games by Vanikar app is available on Google Play, with the App Store listing to follow.

One Account Across Mobile and Web

All three collections share one Vanikar account, with sign-in by Google, Apple or email. Card Games by Vanikar is available on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, Chess & Checkers by Vanikar on iOS, Android and the web, and Board Games by Vanikar on Android and the web. Online play is cross-platform, so a player in a browser and a player on a phone can sit at the same table.

Players can choose the screen that suits them without buying another membership. Premium subscriptions are purchased through the iOS or Android app and recognized when the player signs in on the web.

No Ads, With Free and Premium Options

Vanikar remains advertising-free across its trial, Free and Premium tiers.

New players receive a 14-day full-access trial without a credit card requirement, and the apps need no account to play against the computer. After the trial, players can choose three card games to keep playing free against computer opponents, with no expiration. Premium unlocks the complete collection across all three apps, online play and every new game as it is released.

Current U.S. Premium pricing is $1.99 per month or $14.99 per year, and early subscribers receive a Founder price lock that holds the yearly rate for three years. Local prices vary by country and are displayed in the applicable app store.
