Games, intelligent applications, and AI-powered experiences — built with more than two decades of engineering experience across financial services, defense, retail, security, and enterprise technology.
Vanikar is a software product company building thoughtful technology around real user needs.
We believe shipped software is the best demonstration of what we can do. Here are some of the experiences being built under the Vanikar name.
59 classic card games, from Hearts, Spades and Euchre to Canasta, Pinochle and eleven solitaires. Play friends and family at private tables online, or offline against computer opponents with personalities of their own.
Explore Card GamesChess and four of its variants, draughts under four rule sets, Chinese Checkers, Shogi and Hnefatafl. Play the computer at three levels, or friends online on the clock, on 2D or 3D boards.
Explore Chess & CheckersSnakes and Ladders and the older boards it came from, the Tamil classics Dhayam and Aadu Puli Aattam, Pallanguzhi, Backgammon, Mahjong, Yatzy and Vanikar's own Guilds to Galaxies. Two to four players, against the computer or online.

We start with the problem, not the technology. Every Vanikar product is designed around a clear user need, then engineered for reliability, usability, security, and long-term maintainability. Sometimes the right solution uses AI. Sometimes it uses traditional software. Often it uses both. The goal is always the same: build something genuinely useful.
We design, build, and operate software products from concept through production — product architecture, cloud platforms, mobile and web applications, APIs, automation, testing, and ongoing improvement.
LLMs, intelligent automation, generative experiences, machine learning, and locally hosted models — used selectively where they improve the product.
We build polished digital games and multiplayer experiences that combine strong engineering with thoughtful interaction design.
We use artificial intelligence when it makes a product meaningfully better — not simply because AI belongs on a feature list. Our work incorporates large language models, intelligent automation, generative AI, and locally hosted models where they improve usability, efficiency, personalization, or decision-making.
Just as importantly, experience helps us recognize when conventional software is the better solution.
Vanikar was founded on a simple belief: new technology is most valuable when paired with experienced judgment. Our background spans more than two decades of software engineering across highly demanding industries — a foundation in architecture, reliability, security, scale, and production execution.
That experience was gained through prior engineering and leadership roles supporting organizations across financial services, defense, retail, and enterprise technology. Today, it is being applied to Vanikar's own products.
Technology changes fast. Judgment compounds slowly. We bring both — the newest tools in experienced hands.
Prior engineering and leadership roles across industries where software has to work the first time — and every time after.
Engineering in environments where reliability, data integrity, security, and operational resilience are non-negotiable.
Delivering technology within demanding environments where precision, security, and disciplined engineering matter.
Systems built for high-volume customer experiences, digital commerce, integrations, and enterprise-scale operations.
Platforms and integrations supporting customer engagement, automation, and data-driven experiences.
Authentication, integration layers, APIs, distributed systems, and the infrastructure that connects modern applications.
More than 21 years of software engineering and technology leadership experience spanning financial services, defense and aerospace, global retail, e-commerce, and marketing technology.
An M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova University and executive education at the Wharton School complement a career spent designing, building, and shipping production software in demanding environments.
Underneath it all is a genuine passion for technology: a curiosity about how things work, a habit of building on nights and weekends, and a belief that well-crafted software can make everyday moments better. Today, that passion and experience are being applied to Vanikar's own products.
Vanikar draws from a Tamil word associated with merchants and traders. Historically, merchants created value not simply by moving goods, but through judgment, relationships, trust, knowledge of their craft, and an understanding of what people needed.
That idea resonates with how we think about technology. Software is ultimately an exchange of value between the people who build it and the people who use it. Our job is to make that exchange worthwhile.
Technology changes quickly. Good judgment, thoughtful engineering, and attention to craft compound over time.
59 card games, 12 chess and checkers games and 16 board games now play in the browser and on Android, with the iOS apps catching up as each store update clears
